The EADB Board of Directors hosted our clients and partners at a stakeholder dinner at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dar es Salaam. The dinner hosted on Thursday 6th August was aimed at engaging our stakeholders on how we can strengthen our relationships while also highlighting the Bank’s 2024-2028 strategic plan.
During the dinner, the EADB Board Chairperson Dr. Ramathan Ggoobi emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing socio-economic development across the region. He also expressed his appreciation to the invited guests for their invaluable contribution to the Bank’s successful performance in 2025, adding: “2025 was a milestone year for the Bank that saw it deliver strong operational and financial results while generating significant development impact across the region. These achievements were made possible by the partnerships we have built with our stakeholders across our member states.”
The Ag. Director General Benard Mono went on to reiterate the theme of building strategic partnerships in his remarks, adding:
"Thank you for believing in this great institution and for trusting us to keep earning that belief. I look forward to deepening and broadening our relationship as we work to achieve sustainable socio-economic development in the region. Over the next few years, we're sharpening our focus, strengthening what works, and staying honest about what doesn't, that is our commitment."
Invited guests included both current and former EADB clients, staff, partners and dignitaries from regional embassies.
